My Mulder is taken from the end of Season Three. Timeline changes will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Under absolutely NO circumstances will he ever pass the first few episodes of Season Seven - the ones that wrapped up the story arc from Season Six. I will also consider Fight The Future as part of his canon if the need ever arises for his timeline to be changed to include any part of Season Six.
As far as I'm concerned after the first few episodes in Season Seven which wrapped up the story line from Season Six The X-Files ends. I consider the majority of Season Seven to be out of character and bullshit. Seasons Eight and Nine's only redeeming factor was that Doggett's character came on the scene but the people in charge squandered their chance to develop him to his full potential.
Mulder's Dad is, and always will be in my world, William Mulder and NOT the Cigarette Smoking Man. That was a pathetic plot device that is as old as the hills and fucking annoying. Additionally, this bullshit about Mulder and Scully getting together and having a baby - NO. Fuck that noise. Ain't happening with my portrayal of Mulder. If you want that then you can walk back out and look elsewhere.
